Colt Detective Special with very low serial # RD0002. This gun came out of the Colt Engineering Archives Library. It was put aside as an engineering reference piece. The gun was the 2nd one off the line when Colt went to the new series Detective Special. It is in .38 special caliber with a 2 3/16" barrel, blue finish with rubber grips with Colt medallions. It is in the original box with papers. A very collectable Colt with special History and a low serial number.
